HOW IT WORKS

Schedule a free 15-minute introductory call with me to discuss your goals and reasons for exploring walk and talk therapy

If we agree to work together, we meet at an agreed location and walk together for 50 minutes at a comfortable pace set by you. If the weather is unsuitable, we can reschedule or move to online if preferred.

What is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Walk & Talk Therapy is a simple but powerful way to experience counselling. Instead of sitting face-to-face in a therapy room, we take our sessions outdoors — walking side by side.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers a more relaxed way to engage with counselling. We meet outdoors in fresh air, using gentle movement to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges. It’s professional, confidential, and paced to suit you in a calm, natural setting. Find out more

Why is it different?

Many people find it easier to open up while moving. The gentle rhythm of walking, the fresh air, and being in nature can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, and make difficult conversations feel more natural.

  • No office. No pressure.
  • Just you, me, and a supportive conversation as we walk together.

I’m David, a BACP-qualified counsellor based near Frome. Through Counselling in Motion, I offer walk-and-talk therapy — a relaxed way to explore life’s challenges in the calming presence of nature. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, low, or simply in need of space to reflect, I’d love to walk alongside you. Find out more
